Rapper Lil Boosie is using his time behind bars wisely.
Rapper Lil Boosie is using his time behind bars wisely. According to reports, Lil Boosie took his GED test several months ago and recently received his results. The rapper, who once bragged about dropping out of school, is now an official recipient of his GED, which he received last Tuesday (October 18). Lil Boosie is currently in jail at Angola State prison, where he faces a possible death sentence for his involvement in October 2009 murder. While the rapper is raising funds for his defense through his website BoosieJustice.com, rappers Yo Gotti and Young Jeezy have also contributed towards Boosie’s defense fund. Earlier this month, Yo Gotti was in Baton Rogue, where he spent the day with Boosie’s children.
Brooklyn man busted for trying to sell cocaine to Occupy Wall Street protesters
A Brooklyn man who tried to sell cocaine to Occupy Wall Street protesters and then attacked a group of the occupiers has been busted by cops.
Garfield Leslie, 19, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was arrested Saturday night at Zuccotti Park for assault and drug possession. Cops said the would-be dealer punched a woman , then hit a man who came to her defense.
"That was the craziest thing I've seen since working here," said Harry Wyman, 22, of Brownsville, a security volunteer at the protest. He said the woman who fell suffered a fractured wrist, and Leslie hit another woman in the head and busted a man's lip.
"He came in from the outside to sell drugs," Wyman said. "As security, we don't want any of that in the park. I came over and told him he had to leave. He said he would."
But when he came back a few minutes later, Wyman said, a brawl was breaking out. "The drug dealer pepper-sprayed a man," he said. "It was an uproar."
Meanwhile, two dozen doctors, nurses and medical students joined the protesters Sunday, chanting, "People, not profits, Medicare for all."
"The 99% needs health care," said Dr. Adam Gaffney, 29, a physician at Columbia University Medical Center.

Sesame Street YouTube Got Hacked
Sesame Street's YouTube channel went XXX-rated Sunday, after hackers replaced its content with porn.
The popular children's show Website was pulled down as soon as bosses discovered videos of the much-loved muppets characters were replaced with sex tapes, according to reports.
The company issued an apology to viewers saying the "channel was compromised" and experts are working to restore content.
"We always strive to provide age-appropriate content for our viewers and hope to resolve this problem quickly," Sesame Street said in a statement on their Website.
One message posted beside some of the adult videos said: "Who doesn't like porn kids?", the BBC said.
San Francisco's KGO-TV reported one of the adult videos lasted eight minutes and none of them included the Sesame Street characters.
The YouTube channel has more than 140,000 subscribers and videos on the site have been viewed nearly half a billion times.
Google, which owns YouTube, said they removed the content as soon as they became aware of its inappropriate nature.
A message posted on the hacked page claimed two YouTube users were responsible, CNN reported.
One of the pornographic posts was allegedly by someone with the username "Mredxwx" but the YouTube user posted a video denying involvement.
"I did not hack Sesame Street. I am an honest youtuber," a statement on the 18-second video states.
"I work hard to make quality gameplay videos and most important I respect the community guidelines."
Rick Ross To Travel In DJ Khaled's Tour Bus
At least for the time being, it looks like Rick Ross won't be traveling on anymore private jets.
After two emergency flight landings, as a result of two seizures, DJ Khaled has offered Rick Ross a ride in his luxury tour bus.
From TMZ:
Ross -- who was hospitalized in Alabama Friday -- was picked up by his friend DJ Khaled ... who transported him to Memphis in his luxury tour bus for the opening of a chicken wing joint last night.
Sources close to Ross tell us ... Khaled has offered to take Ross back to Atlanta in the bus, so he won't have to risk another in-flight emergency.
We're told the journey home is scheduled to begin at some point today.
Just to be safe, maybe Rick Ross should invest in his own luxury tour bus.
Either way, we hope the Boss gets well soon.

Tupac Estate is considering $1 Million offer for unreleased song
Tupac’s estate is currently doing all they can to prevent the tape from going public, but now have said that they will be offering one million dollars not for the sex tape itself but for the unreleased song that’s heard during the tape.
Good news on the Tupac Shakur sex tape front … Pac’s estate has finally begun talks with a potential buyer … but it ain’t for the XXX part … it’s all about the music.
As TMZ first reported, an anti-hangover drink company called NOHO has offered to pay $1,000,000 for the rights to the unreleased song 2Pac was rapping along with … while he was being “tended to” by a very friendly female in the 1991 footage.
Sources connected to the negotiations tell us … the offer was big enough to catch the estate’s attention, because a rep for Pac’s people reached out to NOHO and the two sides are trying to work out a deal.
There’s only one problem … the estate doesn’t have possession of the sex tape and aren’t even sure which song is playing on it.
Oh yeah … NOHO hasn’t heard the song either — but the CEO is banking on the fact that it’s a Tupac song … which means is has to be awesome.
We’re told if the estate can’t get a hold of the tape, they have other unreleased Tupac songs they’re willing to part with … if the price is right.

BIG BOI COPS A PLEA TO AVOID JAIL TIME IN FLORIDA DRUG CASE!
OutKast rapper Big Boi has reached a deal on Florida drug charges that prevents him to doing any jail time.
Big Boi appeared in a Miami courtroom Thursday where he was sentenced to three months of drug testing, community service and $2,000 in donations to charities.
The 36-year-old rapper's real name is Antwan Patton was arrested getting off a cruise ship in August when a K-9 dog sniffed out drugs that Big Boi was carrying.
The substances included ecstasy, a cigarette roller with marijuana residue and the ecstasy ingredient MDMA.
Prosecutors say if he remains drug-free after three months of testing, those charges will be dismissed.
Chris Tucker's Million-Dollar Florida Mansion Faces Foreclosure
Last summer, it was revealed that Chris Tucker owed the IRS over $11 million in back taxes. Now it appears the reclusive actor-comic has run into some more financial troubles. The Orlando Sentinel reports that Tucker allegedly owes more than $4 million to SunTrust Bank, which has filed foreclosure papers on the 10,000 square-foot Florida mansion.
Per the Sentinal, Tucker's mansion includes "five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa in the master suite, an outdoor kitchen overlooking a pool, and an unusual basement designed like a pirate ship with a wooden deck, mast and sail."
Ironically, the Internal Revenue Service put an $11.5 million lein on the waterfront home in the pricey Bella Collina of Monteverde, Fla. last summer to collect unpaid taxes from the 'Rush Hour' star.
Tucker has yet to comment on the foreclosure. He was recently discussed as a possible co-star for 'The Silver Linings Playbook' with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. His Florida home is currently valued at just $1.6 million.

Will Smith Reunites With DJ Jazzy Jeff & Records New Music
Plans for a Will Smith comeback album have yet to be solidified, but XXLMag.com has learned that the Oscar-nominated-rapper-turned-actor has logged in studio time with his longtime friend and collaborator, DJ Jazzy Jeff.
“He came down like two weeks ago and was like, ‘Yo, I wanna get back into the studio, and we just knocked out some stuff,” Jeff told XXL. “I just think more than anything there is no set pattern, no set plan, but we just wanna go into the studio and see what we come out with. If I can get it back to the way we used to make music, you know, it used to be just me and him in the room. You don’t need no entourages and cameras and all of that and see what happens. He hasn’t decided exactly what he wants to do.”
Though Smith hasnÂ’t released music since 2005′s Lost & Found, Jeff assures that the Fresh Prince still has hip-hop in mind.
“Will has never not wanted to do music,” Jeff shared. “When you’re pretty much the biggest movie star in the world, the movie people don’t want you to do music ’cause you ain’t making $50 million off of making music. From a financial perspective, movies is where it’s at. And it’s not like his heart is not in the movies, but he’s always wanted to do some level of music.

3 seniors hospitalized after eating pot brownies at friend's funeral
Three Southern California senior citizens went to the emergency room after they unknowingly ate marijuana-laced brownies at a friend's funeral, Huntington Beach police said.
Two 71-year-old women and an 82-year-old man were taken to a hospital emergency room Saturday after they complained of nausea, dizziness and an inability to stand without assistance.
"At the service, a tray of brownies were offered that has since been determined to have contained medical marijuana. No one was told the brownies contained the marijuana before they were consumed," police said.
The seniors, residents of Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, didn't know the laced-sweets were being offered in memory of their friend, who ate medical marijuana brownies.
In a separate incident, robbers posing as customers called a medical marijuana dispensary Friday and asked for a delivery, police said.
When the man and woman arrived with the medical marijuana, the two suspects took $1,500 worth of marijuana, their cell phones and keys, police said.
"These (victims) didn't get hurt, but it points to the fact that it's a lucrative cash business, and along with that obviously comes this type of crime," police Lt. Russell Reinhart told City News Service.
Huntington Beach does not permit or have licensed medical marijuana dispensaries in the city limits.
Federal authorities announced Friday they plan to crack down on marijuana sales and growing operations throughout the state.
Young Buck Facing Liquidation In Wake Of Bankruptcy
The former G-Unit rapper is likely to face liquidation as he no longer has a good chance at reorganizing.
After filing for bankruptcy last year, Young Buck is facing liquidation as his bankruptcy trustee says that he "no longer has a viable shot at reorganizing."
According to Wall Street Journal, the rapper, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, originally filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy but is now in danger of facing Chapter 7 liquidation. If the motion is filed, then Young Buck's assets will be sold and distributed among his creditors.
His Chapter 11 trustee, Jeanne Burton, has been working since January to help Buck exit bankruptcy. The two filed a plan that would have modified his recording contract with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records and distribution contract with Universal Music Group. Both G-Unit and UMG opposed the plan, as Fif and Buck "remain in disagreement" on each side's obligations.
“At this time, because no agreement has been reached with G-Unit and Curtis Jackson regarding either assumption or rejection for the recording agreement and/or the publishing agreement, the first amended plan cannot be confirmed,” said Burton in papers filed last week. “The trustee believes and therefore asserts that there is no reasonable likelihood of reorganization at this point.”

"No N*ggers Please" Sign Posted At Michigan State University
Students at Michigan State University were recently greeted by a racist sign that read "No N*ggers Please" posted on their campus.
The sign is just one of many acts of racism that's taken place this year at the State school and was addressed Tuesday at a town hall meeting.
"The incident that really jump-started this movement was an incident at Akers Hall where someone wrote 'No Ni**ers, please' on a door of a young lady's room," said Mario Lemons, the president of the MSU Black Student Alliance (BSA).
"The residence life staff told us not to talk about. Of course, someone took a picture of it and sent it to one of us."
Lemons and his fellow Black students are taking a stand against these actions and started a trending topic on Twitter to address their issues; #MSUBlackUnity.
"We put it on Facebook and Twitter and started a dialog about it," Lemons told The Associated Press. "From that came more stories of other people going through things on campus."
Other reported acts of racism have included physical acts of racial intimidation and a Black doll being hung from a beaded noose in a chemistry lab.
Students have also reported being called the n-word, and being told that they were only accepted to the institution because of affirmative action.

Jimmy Henchman's Brother Receives 12 Year Sentence For Cocaine Distribution
Kesnar Rosemond, the brother of imprisoned hip hop manager James “ Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, was sentenced to 12 years in prison yesterday (October 6) for his part in a nationwide cocaine distribution operation.
Kesnar, 50, who was also found guilty of wire fraud and identity theft, previously pleaded guilty to the charges in an attempt to receive a lightened sentence, according to The New York Post.
Prosecutors claim Kesnar Rosemond had a complex scheme of using loan information obtained from an undisclosed car dealership to create bogus accounts.
He then used reputable shipping companies to transport millions of dollars in cocaine from coast to coast.
Henchman is currently in jail, accused of being the mastermind behind the national cocaine distribution outfit.
Prosecutors say he used his business CZAR Entertainment as a front for his drug dealings and even say he shipped drugs to various recording studios.
C-Murder's Lawyers Work For Free To Fight For His Appeal
C-Murder's Lawyers In Court Fighting For New Appeal
Corey Miller, professionally known as C-Murder never wanted his rap moniker to be taken so serious that it would result in him spending life in prison.
But the No Limit soldier is serving time behind bars for the murder of Steven Thomas, a 16-year-old who had an alleged altercation with Miller at the nightclub Platinum in 2002.
After being convicted of the murder the first time, Miller was released in 2003 on $500,000 bail when it was revealed that some of the witnesses had their criminal records thrown out to increase their credibility.
In 2009, the prosecutors got their chance to appeal the case and the younger brother of Master P was convicted again although a juror said she was pressed by other jurors to vote for a conviction.
Unfortunately for the artist once known as C-Murder, he spent all his bread on legal fees, but his new attorneys are working for no money to get the case overturned again.
The team of Harvard and New Orleans attorneys stated that there is no physical evidence linking Miller to the crime and they are hoping for another appeal.
Vodka Brand Owner Calls For Ciroc Boycott After Diddy Club Rant
Diddy's apology for famously degrading a club patron at an Atlanta club over the weekend apparently isn't enough for some people.
Georgi Vodka owner Martin Silver has called for a 30-day boycott on Combs' Ciroc in hopes to teach the music mogul a lesson.
As previously reported, a video surfaced of Combs getting into it with a club goer at Club Compound in Atlanta, telling the non-Ciroc drinker to, “Put that sh*t down,” before tossing a an unidentified object in the crowd.
Silver said Diddy's use of the “N” word during his rant was totally uncalled for and thinks Puff should be held accountable.
“In modern time racism should not be portrayed by any individual and Diddy should donate proceeds of his profits to organizations that fight racism.” said Silver.
Diddy and Silver have somewhat of a history.
After Diddy claimed all Vodkas other than Ciroc were “pee pee,” Silver sent a toilet bowl full of Ciroc bottles to Comb's business office.
Silver owns the largest vodka brand in New York state.

Tupac Estate Threatens to Sue Over Alleged Sex Tape
Afeni Shakur and the Tupac Estate says anyone prepared to sell the deceased rapper’s alleged sex tape might as well prepare for war.
“Get the legal team ready because [we] will not allow someone to put it out,” Afeni Shakur said through a Tupac Estate spokesperson, a quote first given to TMZ.
“We will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape,” the spokesperson added.
This comes one day after pictures from the supposed video were posted online that show’s Tupac’s likeness.
As previously reported, the footage was shot during a house party back in 1991. The clip is supposed to show a bare-chested Shakur with his pants down receiving oral sex
EX-MODEL WHO HAD HERSELF SOME BROILED, FRIED & BARBEQUED HUSBAND GETS HER PAROLE DENIED
LOS ANGELES - The former model convicted of killing her husband, boiling his head, frying his hands and nibbling his ribs with barbeque sauce was denied parole at a prison hearing Wednesday.
Omaima Nelson, who told a psychiatrist she dressed in a red hat, red heels and red lipstick during her 12-hour dismemberment "trance," appeared before prison officials in Chowchilla, Calif., claiming she's a reformed born-again Christian.
Authorities didn't bite and set her next parole hearing for 2026.
Her grisly murder of William E. Nelson, 56, over Thanksgiving weekend in 1991 has been likened to an act by the cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lector of the movie "The Silence of the Lambs," released earlier that year.
"There were suitcases and plastic bags soaked with dark liquid from his body parts. In the fry cooker there sat Mr. Nelson's hands, and we opened the refrigerator, there was Mr. Nelson's head with stab wounds," Orange County Senior Deputy District Attorney Randolph J. Pawloski told the Los Angeles Times.
"She had his entrails in his Corvette, and she was trying to get an ex-boyfriend to yank out the dentures from the head so she could dump it in the Back Bay," he said.
Pawloski appeared at the hearing along with the victim's daughter, who told parole officials how her father was taken from her when she was a 15-year-old high school sophomore and how he has missed her growing up and becoming a mother.
Prosecutors said the Egyptian-born woman stabbed her newlywed husband with scissors, hacked him up, ground portions of his body in a garbage disposal and likely plotted to flee with his cash and credit cards.
Omaira Nelson, who was 23 at the time, admitted frying the hands to remove the fingerprints.
She also mixed some of his body parts with leftover Thanksgiving turkey to hide them in the trash, prosecutors said.
Her psychiatrist said she confessed to her bizarre red outfit and also told him she dipped the victim's "tender" ribs in "sweet" sauce.
"I did his ribs just like in a restaurant," Dr. David Sheffer quoted her saying.
Her original defense lawyer said he thought she deserved mercy.
"She was a battered woman," Thomas G. Mooney told the Daily News. "The murder followed a series of abusive events with her new husband. He threw her cat out the window of a car going 75-mph. He handcuffed her to a chair.
And then he raped her, and she reacted in what she thought was self defense."
"All the dismemberment was a psychotic event triggered by the abuse and killing," he said.

Sesame Street Introduces Poverty-Stricken Muppet
Sesame Street has a new muppet*who is*hungry for more than just cookies.
The iconic kids show is set to unveil a new impoverished puppet named Lily, whose family faces an ongoing struggle with hunger issues. Lily will be revealed in a one-hour Sesame Street primetime special, Growing Hope Against Hunger, which is being sponsored by Walmart. The special will star country singer Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams Paisley, as well as the Sesame Street Muppets.
“Food insecurity is a growing and difficult issue for adults to discuss, much less children,” said the Paisleys in a statement. “We are honored that Sesame Street, with its long history of tackling difficult issues with sensitivity, caring and warmth asked us to be a part of this important project.”
The special will share the stories of real-life families to raise awareness of hunger issues in the United States, as well as strategies that have helped these families find food. The United States Department of Agriculture estimates that 17 million American children — nearly 1 in 4 — have limited or uncertain access to affordable and nutritious food. Walmart is sponsoring the show as part of a $1.5 million grant toward the initiative and holding screenings in select communities.
The special is set to air nationwide on Oct. 9.

Uncle Luke Revoking Lil Wayne, Dj Khaled and P. Diddys Miami Card.
Uncle Luke, the man whose booty-shaking madness once made the U.S. Supreme Court stand up for free speech, gets as nasty as he wants to be for Miami New Times. This week, Luke doesn't like how Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled use Miami but don't give back to the Magic City.
I've got a message for Lil Wayne, his Cash Money Brothers, DJ Khaled, Puff Daddy and all the rappers from other parts of the country who now live in Miami. I'm tired of seeing these cats using up our beaches, soaking up our sunshine, taking over the nightclubs, and sleeping with our women without investing anything into the community. I want to know when Lil Wayne is going to do more than show up courtside at the American Airlines Arena. Hell, it's not like he paid for them anyway. You know he got comped.
This free loading and mooching of my city has got to stop. There used to be a day when out of town rappers were scared to throw their weight around Miami. It didn't matter if they were coming from New York or Los Angeles, they knew better than to act like they owned this mother fu*ker.
Artists knew better than to come to Miami and disrespect us.But now folks in Miami's entertainment industry have gone soft, turning into a bunch of groupies just because they want to say they drank Rozay with the Cash Money crew.
Just cause Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled are from New Orleans doesn't mean they don't have to be a part of the community. They're getting rich under fun and sun. They rap in their songs about King of Diamonds and LIV nightclub, where Lil Wayne was partying it up with Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks after they beat the Miami Heat for the NBA championship.
What kind of sell-out move is that? I want to see Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Puff Daddy and all their boys start doing more for Miami. I want to see them doing fundraisers to help youth sports and after school programs. I want to see them at FCAT rallies. I want to see them do like Pitbull who works closely with the Kiwanis Club in Little Havana and DJ Irie who puts on a charity weekend for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
I'm giving them a deadline. They got until January 1. If I don't see them giving back to the Magic City, I'm gonna have their Miami cards revoked. They won't be getting into any more nightclubs. They won't be able to go near our women. And Lil Wayne is gonna have to find floor seats for New Orleans Hornets home games because he won't be allowed inside the Triple A.

“Eatin’ The Box” May Cause More Throat Cancer Than Smoking in Men!
A virus spread “orally” may cause more cases of throat cancer in men than smoking, a finding that triggered calls for a new large-scale test of a drug used against the infection.
The latest reports on the topic:
Researchers examined 271 throat-tumor samples collected over 20 years ending in 2004 and found that the percentage of oral cancer linked to the human papillomavirus, or HPV, surged to 72 percent from about 16 percent, according to a report released yesterday in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. By 2020, the virus-linked throat tumors — which mostly affected men — will become more common than HPV-caused cervical cancer, the report found.
Researchers also say…
The burden of cancer caused by HPV is going to shift from women to men in this decade,” Maura Gillison, an oncologist at Ohio State University and study senior author, said in a telephone interview. What we believe is happening is that the number of sexual partners and exposure to HPV has risen over that same time period.
Who would ever think lighting one up would be less dangerous then going downtown? SMH.
