Rapper T.I. is back in a federal prison, just one day after being released from a Forrest City, Arkansas prison for violating his probation.
T.I. was taken from a halfway house earlier this morning, for allegedly misleading prison officials about his mode of transportation from prison, to the halfway house.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ.com that T.I. misled prison officials, who believed he would be taking a van to the halfway house, instead of a high-end tour bus with members of his entourage in tow.
Officials stated that T.I. should have let them know that he was taking a “party bus” to the halfway house. Now, TI is sitting in federal custody in an Atlanta prison as a result of the infraction.
"We are awaiting the opportunity to quickly resolve whatever the issue may be that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has with TI's method of transportation, bus, from Arkansas to Atlanta, so that T.I. can return to the halfway house to complete the remaining days of his sentence," his attorney Steve Sadow told TMZ.com.
