Retirement has not been kind to Michael Jordan's fashion sense, and now Jordan's curious wardrobe choices seem to have gotten him banned from La Gorce Country Club in Miami. The New York Post has the story, in which anonymous sources claim that Jordan arrived at the golf course wearing cargo pants, refused to change out of them upon finding out that he was in violation of the club's dress code, and was subsequently barred from returning. The Post even got Jordan's PR rep to comment on the incident, rather hilariously: Michael Jordan did wear cargo pants . . . He had been there many times before and had worn cargo pants previously, and had never been made aware that he was violating any dress code. This time, he was made aware of the violation on the 12th hole, and at that point . . . he did refuse to interrupt his game, and return to the clubhouse and change. We were not aware that he is not allowed to return to La Gorce. I guess it's their loss - as MJ is a great golfer, and a great guest. Boom. Your loss, snooty country club. Mike will be off enjoying the combination of comfort and storage that only cargo pants can offer while you waste away in your ivory tower.
