Rapper Big Unk Aka Mr. Real Estate Busted With 150 Pounds Of Weed

A Natchitoches, Louisiana rapper who worked with artists like Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie and Paul Wall, was arrested this weekend after police found over 100 pounds of marijuana is his home.

Big Unk, who recently dropped the moniker in favor of his other alias "Mr. Real Estate," was arrested on Saturday (January 15th), after an investigation by local, State and DEA investigators.

Police began an investigation when area residents complained of drug dealing in the Beaux Bridge area of Louisiana.

When agents raided the rapper's house, they found 150 pounds of marijuana worth over $250,000 on the street.

Police also seized $500,000 in jewelry and $72,000 in cash from the residence.

Mr. Real Estate, born Reggie Smith, is signed to E1 Entertainment, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

The rapper was head of his upcoming label Boot Mobb Entertainment, which was based in Natchitoches, a small town 60 miles south of Shreveport.

"Everything I rap about is 100 percent truth. So much stuff has gone on in my life that’s actually going on now but some parts you should just leave out," Mr. Real Estate told Onwaxmagazine.com in October of 2010.

"I guess you should learn from the Boosie situation because you shouldn’t rap about some of the sh**t," Mr. Real Estate said. "I got one track that I touch about my situation briefly but the only people who really know about it are the ones that are close to me."

According to his bio, his nickname came from his nephew shortening the name "Uncle" to "Unk."

He served time in prison at age 17 for a felony conviction, when he ban to rap.

His first single was titled "Fly Like That," which was released in 2008 on the album Tolerated But Hated, which featured Lil Boosie, Paul Wall and others.

He recently released a track titled "Pushin Weight" featuring Gucci Mane and OJ Da Juice Man.

The rapper was also preparing to release a single titled "2 Much Money" featuring Rick Ross.
