Man Offers Soulja Boy $25,000 To Retire

A Glendale California man is so irritated with the music Soulja Boy makes, that he is pledging $25,000 for the Atlanta rapper to stay away from the booth for good. According to reports, the man, Kyle Burgens, described as a financial adviser for an investment firm in Los Angeles says the ‘Crank Dat’ rapper is a detriment to the community and has single-handedly set hip hop back 20 years.

He’s so serious he’s shown media outlets a legally binding contract and a written check in Soulja Boy’s name (we assume his government name). Soulja Boy, who’s no stranger to controversy and criticism, was unavailable for comment. In reaction to the news, fans have to wonder if Soulja Boy is worth $25,000 to retire, how much would Lil B go for?

Woman arrested for trespassing in hospital, dies in jail

Richmond Fields, Missouri - New video has surfaced which shows Richmond Fields police arresting a 29-year-old woman at a hospital for trespassing and later dragging her into a jail cell, where she would eventually die. The woman, Anna Brown, had pleaded with officials at the hospital, telling them she was in extreme pain and was unable to stand. The video, which was obtained by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, shows Brown in a wheelchair, refusing to leave the hospital, St. Mary's Health Center.
A doctor told officers that Brown was "healthy enough to be locked up." The officers then put Brown in police car and, when she told them she was unable to stand, they dragged her into a jail cell.
It was later revealed that Brown died from blood clots that originated in her legs but traveled to her lungs. Officers had suspected Brown was using drugs, though autopsy results later showed this wasn't true.
Video of the incident, which occurred last September, is just being brought to light this week.

Brown, 29, had recently lost custody of her two children, was homeless and on Medicaid, the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports. The paper is also reporting that hospital officials believe they took all of the necessary steps with Brown's situation and Richmond Heights police said their actions were based on the doctor's blessing that Brown was 'healthy.'
Brown's family has hired an attorney but no lawsuit has been filed. Brown was one of 10 children
As of 5 pm Wednesday, nearly 13,000 people provided signatures to an online petition demanding 'Health Care For All' in Brown's memory.
Additionally, a Facebook page has been created in Brown's honor, demanding "Justice for Anna Brown." The page has 8,510 likes.

Cops Who Killed Sean Bell Stripped of Their Badges

A lot has been said in regards to the Trayvon Martin killing, and much more will continue to be talked about as that case is far from over.

But a more heinous act of violence occurred back in 2006, when four New York City police officers shot and killed Queens native Sean Bell on his wedding night of all nights.

The four cops who were involved in the shooting will be kicked out of the department, said the NYPD.

Detective Gescard Isnora, who was the first to fire his weapon, was found to be in violation of NYPD guidlines as he fired his weapon while still posing as an undercover officer. He will not receive a pension or health benefits for his role in the incident.

Detective Michael Oliver, Detective Marc Cooper, and Lt. Gary Napoli were the other officers involved and were able to negotiate plea deals with the department to resign, which will allow them to retain their pensions and other benefits.

Sean Bell's father, William Bell, says:

"It really don't matter. They still have lives. Pension or no pension, they're still walking around, they'll get another job. My son doesn't have a chance to start over again."

The officers were all acquitted in court back in their 2008 trial.

Curren$y Sues Dame Dash For $1.5 Million

Curren$y and his hazy raps have dominated the mixtape landscape for the past few years. After a heavy independent grind ahead of his major label signing last year, the self-proclaimed “Hot Spitta” is suing his former associate Dame Dash, as the Roc-A-Fella Records honcho is reportedly selling Curren$y's music without permission.
TMZ reports that Curren$y and Dame Dash's DD172 outfit are at odds over claims that Dash is continuing to release the New Orleans native's product after signing with Warner Bros. in January of last year. Spitta released two albums with Dash, both major label firsts, in 2010. Dash and DD172 released Curren$y's sixth studio album Muscle Car Chronicles this past February, which didn't sit well with the rapper or his new label.
Curren$y is asking Dash to stop releasing his product and also seeking $1.5 million in damages. Dash claims he has a right to release the product, saying he was given permission. The beleaguered producer and record executive also stated that Curren$y betrayed him by signing with Warner after pledging allegiance to DD172.
Dame Dash's post-Roc career has been marred by a series of setbacks. After splitting with former biz partners Jay-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Dash has been in the spotlight for a variety of legal issues including the closing of his DD172 art and performance space in Tribeca and owed back taxes in earlier times. To be fair, DD172 seems to be faring well these days despite the snafus, after Dash took his operation to Asia recently.

Uncle Sam to Nas Your Music Money Is Ours! #IRSGANGSTA

The next time you buy a Nas album, you're really just handing your money over to the government -- because the rapper's delinquent tax filings have caused Uncle Sam to begin garnishing his wages ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported, Nas is in tax debt up to his eyeballs ... if you his eyeballs were $6,000,000 tall.

So the government has finally tired of waiting for Nas to pay up, so they filed documents in the state of Georgia to have his wages garnished -- via the music publishing organizations BMI and ASCAP -- until the debt is paid off.

So if you like Nas, but hate the government ... perhaps you'll want to find an alternative way to listen to his music.

Geraldo Rivera Says Trayvon Martin Shouldn't Of Been Wearing A Hoody #gtfoh

Crazy lady holds man hostage in car for $5000 ransom and a video game system

A woman held a 21-year-old man hostage in a vehicle for hours, pistol-whipping the victim and burning him with cigarettes.

Elizabeth Perry, 21, was charged with armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping after trying to force the man, whom she knew, to raise $5,000 to buy his freedom.

The attack took place between March 4 and 5 after Perry and two others pounced on the man at his home in West Rogers Park, Chicago.

According to prosecutors, the gang drove the man, who has not been identified, around during the attack while telling him to make phone calls for money for his release.

Perry also used the man’s keys to enter his home and steal a video console and jewelry, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The gang finally released their victim after he was unable to raise the money.

She was being held at Cook County jail on $150,000 bond.

Ray J: "I had no idea Whitney was doing coke"

Brandy’s opportunistic brother Ray J is outraged that insiders are accusing him of being Whitney Houston’s cocaine supplier.
The LA County coroner’s final report listed cocaine among the handful of drugs found in Whitney’s system when she died in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11.
According to TMZ.com, the coroner Craig Harvey described the cocaine level in Whitney’s system as “acute” — a medical terminology for short-term.
So Whitney must have ingested the cocaine within hours of being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton last month.
But TMZ.com reports that somebody removed the cocaine from the hotel room before police and paramedics arrived. The person who removed the coke was the same one who supplied it to Whitney.
But Ray J tells TMZ.com it wasn’t him. TMZ also reports that the sheets were missing from the bed in Whitney’s hotel room. Could it be that the sheets were removed to destroy biological evidence that could reveal who was doing coke with Whitney before she died?
Ray J’s rep tells TMZ … the singer had NO KNOWLEDGE that Whitney was using again.
The rep says Ray J is especially upset at claims made by Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, who went on TV Thursday night and suggested Ray J was to blame for Whitney’s demise. Ray J says the claim is absolute B.S.
We’re told Ray J wasn’t even around Whitney the day she died. He was in San Diego.
Hours after Whitney died, a rock solid source confirmed to Sandrarose.com that Ray J was in San Diego. But when I took to my Twitter to report that Ray J was in San Diego, my Twitter followers came for me in the most disrespectful way.
They called me a liar. They said Ray J tweeted earlier in the day that he was in Los Angeles. The question is, did Ray J tell insiders he was in San Diego to give himself an alibi?
“Accidental drowning” is listed as Whitney’s official cause of death. Other drugs found in Whitney’s system included marijuana, Benadryl, Flexeril, and Xanax, none of which contributed to her death.

Penthouse Model SIMONE FARROW gets arrested for being DRUG KINGPIN

WANTED for fleeing $150,000 bail, Penthouse Pet Simone Farrow, the alleged boss of a global drugs ring, was nabbed by police after a dramatic raid on the Gold Coast.

On the run for almost a month, the blonde swimsuit model was extradited to Sydney on Wednesday night after her arrest at a cheap hotel on the Gold Coast Highway.

Accused of trafficking "ice" in bags of bath salts from a plush Hollywood high-rise, an emotional Farrow broke down and pleaded her innocence on arrival at Sydney airport.

Flanked by two federal police officers, Farrow, 37, who has at least 19 aliases and a long-lost teenage daughter, claimed she only fled interstate because "someone was trying to murder me".

Farrow has now been remanded in custody on charges which include the alleged 2009 drug operation.By skipping bail, Farrow put at risk $150,000 surety put up by a Sydney barrister and a flamboyant doctor.

Court documents tendered at one of Farrow's bail hearings in February reveal the ex-Ed Hardy beach babe had legally changed her surname to Lawson in November.

Police suspected this was a ruse to flee the country.Farrow is charged with importing "ice" into Australia and police allege she was the brains behind an "ongoing criminal enterprise" that involved at least seven people.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal that one member of the alleged syndicate committed suicide in a Hollywood motel the day after being contacted by US authorities.

Court documents tendered at the bail hearing said Farrow allegedly asked about having bikies pursue a Victorian man over a five-figure drug debt.

The documents said the alleged enterprise was run from Farrow's apartment, located off Sunset Boulevard.

Police claim Farrow organised for high-grade crystal methylamphetamine, which was often piled up on desks in the apartment, to be mailed to NSW and Victoria hidden in parcels containing "bath products", "pants" or "small fountain kits".

Farrow allegedly developed a method of hiding the drugs inside the bath products, court documents said.

Buyers sent cash to Farrow through the post or made deposits at National Australia Bank branches into her bank account, the court heard.

More than $580,000 was put into her account between February 2009 and October 2010, court documents said.

Surry Hills man Mark Andrew Bolton, with whom Farrow formed such a close relationship that she called him "Dad", told police he paid the model more than $200,000 for drugs, court documents said.

Some of the alleged buyers never met Farrow.

The AFP investigated the leggy blonde after Customs intercepted seven Fed-Ex and United Postal Service packages which contained ice or chemicals used as a cutting agent for the drug.

Police allege the packages were posted to five people in Victoria and NSW. AFP documents say a further 39 "consignments" were sent to Australian recipients "under similar circumstances" but were not detected.

The AFP worked with officers from the US Drug Enforcement Administration to investigate Farrow and her company GlobalStarr.

USDEA officers visited GlobalStarr "accounts executive" Xander Rian at the San Vicente Inn in West Hollywood on October 14, 2009.

At midday the following day they contacted Rian again to arrange a 2pm meeting but arrived to find Rian dead after apparently committing suicide.

After compiling information from phone, bank and postage records, AFP officers arrested Farrow in October, 2009 when she arrived in Australia on a flight from Hawaii.

US agents raided Farrow's Hollywood apartment on October 15, 2009 and allegedly seized 85g of ice and documents relating to drug shipments, court documents said.

Farrow's assistant, Jessica Petit, said she had sent numerous packages to Australia on instruction from Farrow, court documents said. She said she saw "large amounts of ice" at Farrow's house and stopped working for her soon after.

After her arrest Farrow was bailed when a Moss Vale woman she met in jail put up $300,000 surety. That was dropped to $150,000, put up by barrister Anthony Renshaw and doctor Joseph Grech.

As a condition of her bail Farrow was to reside at Renshaw's Double Bay apartment before that was altered to allow her to live in Grech's Paddington property.

But that money was put at risk when Farrow failed to appear at two scheduled court appearances last month and went on the run.

Cash Money Records Sued For Not Paying Royalties AGAIN!!

Cash Money records is, once again, under fire for not paying royalties.

According to Courthouse News Service via Soul Culture, music giant EMI is suing Cash Money because the label simply ceased quarterly royalty payments they had agreed to make as part of a 2009 settlement between the parties.

Cash Money allegedly owes $491,000 in royalties for samples from EMI's catalog.
“Because Defendant has ignored numerous communications from EMI regarding Defendant’s contractual obligations, EMI once more is being forced to commence a lawsuit against Defendant to recover royalty payments,” the complaint states. “The sales of Defendant’s products have far exceeded the payments that EMI has received. It is clear from Defendant’s conduct that it has no intention of honoring the Agreement,” the complaint continues

“Because Defendant has ignored numerous communications from EMI regarding Defendant’s contractual obligations, EMI once more is being forced to commence a lawsuit against Defendant to recover royalty payments,” states the complaint. “The sales of Defendant’s products have far exceeded the payments that EMI has received. It is clear from Defendant’s conduct that it has no intention of honoring the Agreement.”

The turn of events is somewhat less than shocking, as the house that Slim and Birdman built has been a near-constant target for lawsuits over the past several years. Plaintiffs in previous cases have included Bangladesh, producer T-Mix, Done Deal Enterprises, producer David Kirkwood, Bridgeport Music, "Lollipop" producer Deezle & Jim Jonsin, "Got Money" producers Play-N-Skillz,and many, many more. Also of note are high-profile controversies with Mannie Fresh and Wendy Day over money.

"Okay, the b*tch done got breast implants and booty shots, the b*tch ain't real first of all. Secondly, Soulja boy is gonna come behind him anyway. So at the end of the day Scrappy is chilling, he's fine, he's the Prince of the South and he got it good. He's living good and he ain't thinking about that b*tch...dirty low down b*tch."

Be sure to stay tuned in to see how this drama filled season will unfold.

Flavor Flav Opens Fried Chicken & Soul Food Resturant In Las Vegas

When news of Flavor Flav's upcoming chicken joint hit the Internets, folks may have thought it was another dig at the walking punch line that the Public Enemy hype man has become. Last night, however, the reality TV star made good on the news by opening his deep-fried southern food-styled restaurant in Las Vegas, and even got busy on the flour and fryer bit himself. No word yet if any red Kool-Aid and white bread will accompany the crispy heart attack treats.
“Flavor Flav House Of Flavor” opened with the red and gold motif emblazoning the sign above the restaurant. In a clever nod to his customary stage adornment, the letter “O” in the sign was replaced with clocks. Also featured on the take-out joint's sign was Flav's customary “yeaahh boyyy!” adlib made famous from his days with Public Enemy. The menu features a lot of Flav, no pun intended, as he hams it up in photos by each of the menu items. Here fans can witness the many bizarre looks of Flava, with choices between "Chicken Light" and "Chicken Hungry" combo options. Way to go for the inventive, Flav.
Last night's event looked well attended, and there are some shots of the 53-year old man child frying the chicken himself with the requisite flour on his fancy red jacket. Flava Flav is all smiles now, but his first foray into the fried bird business went belly up in Iowa with business partners Nick and Peter Cimino having to shut down the location after just six months.
Flav's chicken shack may have a better shot in Sin City, but we're wondering what does PE front man Chuck D think of all this? Is Professor Griff going to be handling security?

Roc-A-Fella's Kareem "Biggs" Burke Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

Today, former Roc-A-Fella executive Kareem "Biggs" Burke pleaded guilty to charges to distribute more than 100 kilos of marijuana. Burke will be sentenced on May 18th and faces up to six years in prison.
Under the terms of his plea deal, Burke must surrender $660,000, his crib in North Bergen, N.J., and a 2010 BMW.
Along with Jay-Z and Damon Dash, Burke is one of the founders of Roc-a-Fella Records. In late 2010, Burke was arrested as part of a massive drug investigation by ICE and the DEA. The silent partner in the Roc was ironically caught speaking on the phone about drug deals thanks to government wiretaps that were part of an 18-month investigation called "Green Venom." The feds seized 177 pounds of marijuana and millions in drug profits--and now Burke's Beamer. Included in the over 40 people arrested, besides Burke, was High Times Magazine editor Matthew Stang and the alleged head of the drug ring, Geovanny "Manny" Rodriguez Perez.

Jay Z forgets lyrics to 2 songs; Gets mixed reviews ( Should he Retire ? )

Aging rapper Jay Z, who turns 43 on Dec. 4, fumbled the lyrics to two of his best-known songs during a one-man set Monday night, according to Yahoo Music. Jay Z’s live performance at the Amex Sync Show, which was live streamed from the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, was met with mixed reviews.
“The concert’s first half gave the impression of a man performing for a corporate-sponsored promo event. This was not the rapper’s finest 90 minutes,” wrote a The Guardian reporter, who watched the show online.
The Huffington Post noted that Jay Z forgot the lyrics to two of his songs, “Jigga What, Jigga Who” and his Grammy award winning “Empire State Of Mind.”
“The mixups, when paired with the crowd’s surprisingly tepid respond to such an intimate performance from one of music’s biggest stars made for somewhat disappointing set,” The Post critic wro

CRITICS NOT FEELING KANYE WEST NEW FASHION LINE

The rapper-turned-fashion designer complained that critics “just didn’t understand” his first Paris Fashion Week collection last fall. Apparently, they still aren’t impressed.

Despite packing the front row with celebs, including Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, West was criticized for taking a little too much inspiration from his French style idols.

“Kanye West collection was so Givenchy-esque that it’s embarrassing that Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci was an expected guest,” Wall Street Journal fashion critic Christina Binkley said. “Ten points off for copying the smart guy sitting next to you.”

Others were turned off by West’s heavy use of exotic animal skins and furs, including crocodile, fox and a young lamb.

His leather pants were accused of a “poor fit” and his use of fur to create big-sleeved shrugs was “questionable.”

“When Joan Smalls closed the show, wearing an adhesive black gauze dress with a strip of alligator running up the front, it seemed as if Mr. West’s approach to making a dress was like a cook wrapping leftover turkey,” wrote New York Times fashion writer Eric Wilson.

Still, the critics were kinder than they were back in October, when West’s first show received scathing reviews.

The rapper was deemed not-ready-for Paris and lambasted for creating unflattering silhouettes and for lack of tailoring.

West, who had been taken aback by the harsh reviews, pleaded for another chance at the catwalk.
“This is my first collection. Please be easy. Please give me a chance to grow,” he wrote on his blog in October. “This is not some celebrity s--t.”

Trouble began for the Japanese company, last year, when their Sony PlayStation Network was hacked. The personal details of more than 70 million is said to have been taken.

Ricky 'DP' Brascom, the CEO of Behind da Scenes Entertainment, led a gang of 14 who shipped nearly 400kg of drugs and $4million in cash between Los Angeles and Baltimore.
His brother and partner, Jerome 'Bro-Bro' Brascom, was also sentenced at a Los Angeles court yesterday and given six years.

DUI driver with sex toy in tush rear-ends other driver wtf?!

A driver with a "sexual anus plug in his rectum" was jailed after investigators say he rear-ended another driver and had more than five times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood, according to a recently released arrest affidavit.

BrannKevinHarold.jpgWhat could be called the case of the soused driver with the sex toy in his hindquarters happened about 11:20 a.m. Feb. 24 as Martin County Sheriff's investigators went to a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 1 and Seabranch Boulevard in Hobe Sound.

A deputy determined Kevin Brann, 41, had rear-ended another vehicle. Officials also determined Brann smelled strongly of alcohol.

Brann's speech was slurred and mumbled, his eyes bloodshot and glassy. A deputy gave Brann, who'd urinated in his pants, field sobriety exercises before arresting him on a DUI with property damage charge. Brann "soiled himself" en route to the slammer.

"The defendant had a sexual anus plug in his rectum, which he removed, or it fell out in the rear of my patrol car," an affidavit states.

The length, girth and color of the "sexual anus plug in his rectum" was not listed in the affidavit. Also not specified was the make and model of the plug and an explanation of how it ended up in his bottom.

At the jail, investigators measured Brann's blood alcohol content at 0.409 and 0.412 -- more than five times the legal limit of 0.08.

Brann, of the 6800 block of Southeast Bunker Hill Drive in Hobe Sound, was arrested on a DUI with property damage charge.
