We recently posted about the charges brought up against Nate Webster and his inappropriate behavior with the 15 year old daughter of a Cincinnati Bengals assistant coach while he was well in his 30's. Some of these encounters allegedly at gun point. Webster also allegedly threatened to kill the girl and her family if she told anyone. Webster admitted to the sexual encounter but says it didn't happen until after she turned 16, which is the age of consent in Ohio. He was found guilty of four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in April.
Webster could have done 20 years in prison and turned down a plea deal of 4 years. He has now been sentenced to 12 years. Looks like he should have taken the deal. I mean, who turns down FOUR YEARS when you're looking at a possible 20? Was he that confident that he was going to get away with it?
