Boston rapper Akrobatik is in a stable condition after having a heart attack.
Fellow Boston rapper Mr. Lif gave concerned family and friends an update on his condition after there were rumors that Akrobatik was in a coma."Please send positive energy to @akrobatikmc He is in stable condition after having open heart surgery due to a heart attack," Mr. Lif said on Twitter.
Akrobatik, nee Jared Bridgeman, has been a staple in the Boston area and has released a number of acclaimed albums via Fat Beats and Rawkus. His music has also been featured on HBO’s “The Wire” and popular video game “NBA Live.”
