Crazy lady holds man hostage in car for $5000 ransom and a video game system

A woman held a 21-year-old man hostage in a vehicle for hours, pistol-whipping the victim and burning him with cigarettes.

Elizabeth Perry, 21, was charged with armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping after trying to force the man, whom she knew, to raise $5,000 to buy his freedom.

The attack took place between March 4 and 5 after Perry and two others pounced on the man at his home in West Rogers Park, Chicago.

According to prosecutors, the gang drove the man, who has not been identified, around during the attack while telling him to make phone calls for money for his release.

Perry also used the man’s keys to enter his home and steal a video console and jewelry, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The gang finally released their victim after he was unable to raise the money.

She was being held at Cook County jail on $150,000 bond.
